Chocolate Review 6 - Definitely Different Chocolate - Bittersweet Dark Chocolate
Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 11:04AM
This is the last of the chocolates I will review, that I purchased during my trip to Vancouver, B.C. I couldn't find a website, but I found this article about the chocolatier that I found inspiring. Maca bar, huh? I wish I could try it for myself.
The chocolate itself is very rich, not waxy at all (like the article mentions). Its texture is dense and has a matte appearance. To me, it has a deep, rosy scent.
When you taste it, it will go down smooth and has a very lingering taste that is hearty and substantial. I feel like the flavors stay with you in a positive way. I found myself wanting more and savoring every bite.
It doesn't have a fancy label and it's not overhyped. It's one of those bars that makes you feel good when you eat it. Simply put, Definitely Different Chocolate is just plan good.
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
