Kate Earl

I had some time to finally look over thesixtyone - which I've blogged about in the past as one of my favorite new music websites.

I love female singer-songwriters (Sarah McLachlan, Norah Jones, Corrine Baily Rae, Beth Orton - to name a few). Last time I raved about Meiko, and this time I found Kate Earl. Her album isn't even out yet, but I love "Only In Dreams".

Take a listen:

and here's another one:

I love finding new music!

Hi Eileen,

Have you ever heard of Bic Runga or Brooke Fraser? They are pretty popular NZ singers who I think you would like. I would be happy to email you a song or two if you would like?

Cheers,

San

I do know of Bic Runga, but not Brooke Fraser. I would love an MP3!

Thanks!

Wow, this is awesome! And I didn't know Kate Earl has a new album!

First time I heard about Kate Earl was a few years back, I used to work retail,
and stumbled across her song. "When're You're Older" from her "Fate is Hunter" album.

Amazing stuff!

Have you ever heard of MoZella?

I have not heard of MoZella. I'll have to look 'em up. Thanks for the tip!

Hadn't heard of Kate Earl (or thesixtyone) 'til this post. Thanks for introducing me to both! Now I have a new artist that my ears are thrilled about, and a new website I'll no doubt obsess over and have to curtail during productive hours. lol
