As I mentioned, I'm back on to the online world. Since my Super Sweet 16 post I've done the following:

• Joined Twitter


• Added info to my Facebook - still not sure if I like this


• Wrote a long overdue review on Yelp

Anything else I'm missing?  Oh, the one thing I never set up - a MySpace page!

My new camcorder

My big present from Tom this year is an HD Camcorder. I've been editing with Final Cut Pro, but never using my own camera - till now. So far, what's frustrating is editing HDV footage on my Powerbook G4. The rendering is very sloooooooooooooooooooooow. Plus, you can't see the HD quality footage on YouTube.

So here's my first use of the camera. It's raw and I didn't have a lot of lights to work with. I'll have to edit together something shot during the day soon. Enjoy!

WP Plug-in Problems

For whatever reason, I cannot upload any WP Plugins.

I tried a Flickr album plugin, then I tried this Contact Form.  In fact, aside from the Site Templates, none of the WP-Plugins have ever worked for me.

This is very frustrating and it's almost 1am.

Oh My! What did I stumble on?

I will try to not spend too much time on this site. But oh, the horror and the brilliant possibilities to be found! To me, it's internet candy at its best.

Why I don't post

I think I don't post on this blog, because I haven't been inspired. I think about posting all the time, but something always stops me.  I'm online constantly. I read other blogs, and I find cool websites to visit. Still, nothing originates from the keyboard to this website.

Well, something has inspired me to write today. I've been writing personal reviews on Yelp and that has jumped started my writing. So, we'll see if Yelp is the catalyst to maintain this blog.

Oh, the other thing about this blog. Too many spam comments. Gotta fix that.
