One more Holiday Greeting

I've been playing around with 12seconds.tv over the past month and I'm starting to really like the short video burst format. Today my sister and I recorded a greeting with a planned pop-in by Tom, but an unexpected one from my dad (audio only).

My Dad (a die-hard Lakers fan) watches the annual Christmas day game featuring his favorite  team. He's just a bit passionate for the game of basketball, and decided to watch the game upstairs. It's very faint, but I think you can still hear him, no?

Today is just one of those days. This Monday, is busy, crazy, unpredictable and this song really helps calms me. The visuals are quite hypnotic too. I think I might watch this every time I get agitated or frustrated. Hooray for the little things in life.

I've been memed

Apparently I've been memed. Not sure what that really means, but I have to do this:

“It works like this: if you use Flickr, go to the sixth page of your photostream and pick the sixth picture there, then post it to your blog.”

This is kinda like a chain letter, but no evil "you will die" predictions.

Tom put the "curse" on me, who got the curse from Veronica. So now I have to pass it on to 6 new victims. I guess I'll choose the following: @tisha, @MrSan, @LoveMeDeux, @serafinak, @maubrowncow, @Nehalia

I chose people that I thought had active blogs. Not sure what happens if you don't respond. Maybe a black hole will eat you up. I have no idea, but it's late as I write this. Good night.

Pop Music Thursdays!

I'm gonna try something else new. I blatantly promote the fact that I love Pop Music. I just do. Even if you're a country, metal, punk, or even classical music aficionado, I'm willing to bet there's a Pop singer or band that you like. You don't have to admit it here. I'm just sayin'.

So, I think I'll try something simply called "Pop Music Thursdays". I'll choose a hot track to feature every week and post it here. Definitely send me your suggestions and comments!

This week I'll start with Miss B - Beyonce. This is a new track called "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)".

My friend Mau (who has awesome taste in music) IM'd me and said, "You might like this". He's not a Beyonce fan, but will admit this track is "HOTT"! And I definitely agree.
